MAIN WORKING TASKS:
The Center for Child Rights and Corporate Social Responsibility (CCR CSR) in China is the frontrunner in the field of child rights and CSR. We operate as a social enterprise working directly with companies and businesses to help them build sustainable business models that support and promote children’s rights and improve the lives of children. Our clients are global brands with business and supply chains in China and Southeast Asia.
Your main role as Program Assistant is to contribute to the implementation of projects in Vietnam to ensure a successful outcome, and also to support the work of the CCR CSR offices in Hong Kong and other related offices.
The successful candidate must be based in HCMC and available to work minimum 80% per week, and have the flexibility to increase time allocation to 100%.
Project Work: • Support the project implementation including capacity building, trainings, monitoring, evaluation and relations building to service providers and participating brands’ supply chain • Assess capacity-building needs among partners • Make plans and initiate capacity-building activities in collaboration with the Program Manager and Program Director of CCR CSR • Training logistics and other relevant support • Initiate and carry out documentation and evaluations of projects and processes in co-operation with Program Manager and Program Director of CCR CSR with the overall aim of developing lessons-learnt within the organization and sharing experiences with partners and brands • Support and stimulate local networking in co-operation with the Program Manager and Business Manager of CCR CSR
Reporting: Direct report to CCR CSR Executive Director or Director of Service & Products South Pacific is requested.
Logistics: Assist in the implementation of various project elements, from organizing visits and meetings to providing logistical support in the organization of events and workshops.
Resources: Archiving and registering resources in a systematic order and informing staff of new resources etc.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Education: University degree or above in relevant subject preferred (e.g. sociology, social work, public administration etc.) • Minimum work experience: 2 years • Relevant working experience: 1 year
Skills: • Practice and knowledge of carrying out events/trainings • Experience in monitoring and evaluation work • Experience working in a factory environment • Project management experience is preferred • Good communication skills, excellent organizational skills • Good written and spoken English; • Good computer skills (MS Office) and familiar with social media • Social awareness • Ability to work independently and with a high level of integrity and professionalism
